In their report “Company Report: Germany, Inc.” (Geschäftsbericht Deutschland AG) Peer Ederer (left) and Philipp Schuler (right) evaluate the Federal Republic as one would a corporation and arrive at the conclusion that its condition is fairly serious: a tight financial position, managers who cannot make decisions, and an increasingly competitive market burden the books and necessitate a strategic realignment. With their original approach and clear analysis, the two authors have provided the German discussion regarding reform much food for thought and discussion.
